Ex-Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd has revealed the lead single from his forthcoming Dreamland EP, due 10 June via Xtra Mile Recordings. Teaming-up with The Maccabees’ Hugo White and Jamie T on production duties and mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Florence + The Machine, Friendly Fires), 'Pilgrims' is an infectious, wholly assured, rock n' roll outing that gently nods back to mid-2000s indie thanks to its catching chorus and neatly noodling guitar work. With a string of live shows in the pipeline, Lloyd seems set to win over loyal pilgrims of his own. -G.O'B
